The problem with disconnected advice

The financial picture gets harder when no one owns the connections.

A tax return, set of books, entity choice, or business decision rarely exists alone. When every issue is handled in isolation, important context has to be repeated, reconciled, or discovered after the useful moment has passed.

01
Work becomes reactive.Deadlines drive the conversation instead of a forward-looking plan.
02
The numbers stay technical.Reports and filings exist, but the decision they should support remains unclear.
03
Ownership becomes ambiguous.Clients are left coordinating professionals who do not share the same context.

The Mehdiani story

Built for people who want to understand the work—not simply receive it.

Alan Mehdiani founded the firm after recognizing how difficult it can be to find tax and accounting professionals who combine strong technical judgment with responsive, accessible guidance.

Today, clients are supported by a coordinated operating team that learns the situation, maintains the underlying details, explains the implications, and stays available beyond filing season. Alan’s founder role remains visible in the firm’s direction and standards, while the operating team carries the client experience through clear roles and shared accountability.

  • Connect compliance work to the decisions that come next
  • Translate technical conclusions into understandable priorities
  • Keep tax, accounting, reporting, and advisory context aligned
  • Build long-term relationships around dependable follow-through

What guides the work

Principles expressed as client expectations.

Values matter when they change how the work is performed, explained, protected, and followed through.

01

Be proactive.

Look ahead for decisions, risks, and deadlines that deserve attention while useful options still exist.

02

Make it understandable.

Translate technical information into clear priorities, tradeoffs, and next steps without unnecessary jargon.

03

Stay accountable.

Define ownership, communicate status, and follow through so the client is not left coordinating the engagement.

04

Protect the context.

Handle sensitive information carefully and keep the relevant facts connected across the professionals doing the work.

How the team works

Specialized roles, connected around the same client.

No single professional should pretend to be every specialist. The firm is structured so the right expertise can contribute without losing shared context.

Common questions

Clear answers before the first conversation.

These are the trust and fit questions prospective clients commonly need answered before they are ready to inquire.

Who does Mehdiani Financial Management work with?

We work with businesses, business owners, individuals, and families who need tax preparation, tax planning, accounting, bookkeeping, financial reporting, entity guidance, payroll advisory, tax resolution, audit representation, or business advisory support.

Do I need to be near Los Angeles?

No. Our team is remote-first and serves clients across all 50 states. Beverly Hills is our headquarters and mailing address, and we also maintain a location in Encino. Consultations and client service are delivered virtually.

Is the firm available outside tax season?

Yes. The firm operates year-round. The availability, cadence, and response process depend on the service and engagement scope, but our model is designed for ongoing tax, accounting, reporting, and advisory work—not filing season alone.

Can you coordinate business and individual tax needs?

Yes. Many business decisions affect the owner’s personal return. When both are within scope, our team coordinates entity filings, K-1s, owner compensation, estimates, distributions, and related personal reporting.

Does Mehdiani Financial Management run payroll?

No. We advise on third-party payroll-provider selection, reasonable owner or officer compensation, payroll frequency, and tax/accounting coordination. The selected provider calculates and processes payroll, moves funds, files payroll-tax returns, and makes deposits.

How should I send tax documents or sensitive records?

Do not attach or enter sensitive records in the consultation form. After reviewing your request, our team will provide secure-upload instructions when documents are needed.
